About
Kaylee is a South Korean animator and designer based in Seoul. She holds an MFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts and a Ph.D. in Design. Her practice spans animation and design, with a particular focus on cel animation and visual storytelling. Alongside her independent and freelance practice, she is currently an Assistant Professor in the College of Film and Animation at Hongik University.
Kaylee는 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 애니메이터이자 디자이너입니다. 칼아츠(California Institute of the Arts)에서 Experimental Animation 전공으로 MFA를, 이화여자대학교에서 영상디자인 전공으로 박사학위를 취득하였습니다. 만화와 애니메이션을 중심으로 다양한 창작 활동을 이어오고 있으며, 셀 애니메이션과 시각적 스토리텔링에 관심을 두고 작업하고 있습니다. 현재 홍익대학교 영상·애니메이션 분야 조교수로 재직하며 창작과 연구, 교육을 병행하고 있습니다.
